Wye oh Wye

Andy and I went on an exploratory trip to a stretch of the Wye near Hereford yesterday. Weather-wise, we didn’t choose the best day for it, as the day started with the first real frost of the autumn. Not exactly conditions conducive to our chances of catching a barbel or two, and so it proved as neither of us caught anything.

From a reconnaissance point of view, the day was quite useful, though, and the venue will certainly get some further attention when conditions are better.
